One of the beauties of January, is that I have time to show all those sessions from the previous year that never made it to the blog. This is one of the family sessions I have wanted to share. We spent a glorious afternoon in Princeton. The campus is always an amazing location for photography. Between the architecture, the ivy, the sculptures and the fountain, there were a lot of adventures for me to document.
This photo shoot stands out to me for a few reasons. First of all, I adore the dresses that the girls wore. Not only are they super cute, but they were handmade by Amy, their mother. To me, details like that, make all the difference. My mother made me dresses when I was little, and to this day, I can remember them- perfectly. I loved them, and I loved how special they made me feel. I cherish those photos where I am wearing them, because it brings back such happy memories. I like to think that these girls will have a similar reaction one day when they are looking back at these images. Also, this is the only session I have photographed in Princeton where the family got into the fountain. It was so much fun- not just for the kids, but for me, as well!
I am always happy to discuss different ideas you may have for your family session, so just let me know what we can do to make your photo shoot uniquely you.
